Position papers on EU Medical Device Regulation
EuromContact advocates for greater harmonization across Member States, reducing unnecessary complexity for manufacturers, and maintaining the highest safety standards for patients. We also highlight the need for broader acceptance and use of electronic Instructions for Use (eIFU) to support digital innovation and sustainability.

Position papers on Packaging & Packaging waste
EuromContact strongly supports the overall objectives of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. Our industry has made substantial progress in minimizing packaging and advancing the use of safe, sustainable, and recyclable materials. We are also actively engaged in raising public awareness on the proper disposal of end-of-life products. To ensure legal certainty and a well-functioning Internal Market, we emphasize the need for full consistency between horizontal packaging rules and the MDR, as well as harmonized requirements for sorting labelling across the EU.
